BBL Daido is the brainchild of three market leaders in automotive components viz. Simpson & Co., Bimetal Bearings and Daido Metal Co., Japan. It manufactures steel-backed PTFE based bushes and Thrust washers with a licence and technical assistance agreement with Daido, the world leader in engine bearings, bushes and thrust washers.

BBL Daido has a top-of-the line manufacturing facility in Pudupakkam, near Chennai. It manufactures a range of DV bushes, from 10 to 50 mm,diameter that cover a broad range of applications.
